We Have Officially Opened Our London Office

The London office, launched by YTU Startup House, the global brand of YTU Yıldız Technopark, is gearing up to enhance the competitiveness of Turkish technology companies on the international stage. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Osman Koray Ertaş, Turkish Ambassador to the UK, highlighted the significance of the inauguration of YTU Yıldız Technopark's office in London, which is becoming one of the major centers for artificial intelligence among the world's important financial hubs.

YTU Yıldız Technopark London Office, which will facilitate the entry of domestic technology companies into the global market through the UK, has been officially opened. Located at Battersea Power Station, the office will streamline access to the UK market for Turkish IT companies. The opening launch, which featured discussions on the advantages and support provided to firms, was attended by Osman Koray Ertaş, Turkish Ambassador to the UK, Orhan Tanışman, General Manager of YTU Yıldız Technopark, İsa Turgut İnci, Deputy General Manager of YTU Yıldız Technopark and many other guests.



"We Stand on the Eve of a Significant Change"

Speaking at the opening, Turkish Ambassador to the UK Osman Koray Ertaş stated, "Twin transformations (digital and green transformations) will lead to significant changes worldwide. We stand on the eve of a significant change. In this sense, especially technologies like artificial intelligence will truly alter the course of the world. Significant efforts have been made in our country in this regard in recent years. Our Ministry of Industry and Technology, Ministry of Trade, Digital Transformation Office of the Presidency of Türkiye, and all our institutions are deeply interested in this issue. Similarly, together with our private sector and academia, we are striving to complete the technological transformation initiative through collaborative efforts. In this regard, the inauguration of YTU Yıldız Technopark's office in London, which is becoming one of the major centers for artificial intelligence among the world's important financial hubs, is highly valuable. We are confident that many new entrepreneurs and Turkish startups will continue to carry the flag of Turkey and Turkish entrepreneurship around the world, evolving from unicorns to even larger firms through beautiful collaborations."



"We Will Connect Companies with the Global Financial World through London"

Emphasizing that they are Turkey's largest technopark, Orhan Tanışman, General Manager of YTU Yıldız Technopark, stated that their globalization efforts began three years ago. He said, "Embarking on this journey three years ago with the ambition to become a leader in our country and influential globally, today, by opening the London office, we have taken a significant step. Being Turkey's number one for three consecutive years has tasked us with a mission to exist globally. The acceleration programs we initiated in Silicon Valley ten years ago, followed by our operations in Uzbekistan and Dubai, prepared us for the London operation. We have undertaken a mission to sell Turkey's technology to the world, connect Turkish technology with the world, and connect our technology entrepreneurs with global investors. For this purpose, we opened Turkey's first International Technology Marketing Office in Dubai. Looking at our country's exports, there is a need for a pioneering organization in service exports, especially in software and technology. At this point, we, as YTU Yıldız Technopark, established a holding company in Dubai. We had 19 companies there. Currently, we have created a space for 28 companies in a co-working space within Battersea Power Station. Here, we will continue our efforts to connect selected companies with the global financial world through London. We have been working on this for about three years, accumulating significant know-how. Here, we will not only provide space for companies but also facilitate their market entry, provide services ranging from company establishment to marketing, offer market analyses, and provide support for financial and legal matters."

"We Will Focus on Game Entrepreneurs, Women Entrepreneurs, and Mobility Startups"

Tanışman, stating that they manage a large community, said, "We will manage this community with a club mindset, offering various opportunities to make its members more privileged compared to other competitors. We have a claim in that regard as well. By identifying Turkey's elite technology companies and offering them these privileges, we expect other developers to be inspired by them. At the end of the day, we are striving towards two points of progress. One is Germany, and the other is Saudi Arabia. When it comes to Germany, we believe it is a significant market in terms of digital transformation. We will also have an expansion there in Berlin. Regarding Saudi Arabia, we have a memorandum of understanding with The Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia. Within that framework, we will be working on moving Turkish game entrepreneurs, women entrepreneurs, and startups working in the mobility sector there. We are here for Turkish technology entrepreneurs to expand globally, and we invite you to join us."

Isa Turgut İnci, expressing that they have opened the London office under the YTU Startup House brand as YTU Yıldız Technopark, said, "We take pride in hosting 700 firms in Turkey.
