Prof. Dr. Zeynep IŞIK

Prof. Dr. Zeynep Işık, a faculty member at YTU Civil Engineering Department since 2010, completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering.

After completing her undergraduate and graduate studies, she completed her doctorate in Civil Engineering at Middle East Technical University between 2004-2010.

During her doctoral studies, she worked as a visiting researcher at Illinois Institute of Technology between 2007-2008. She continued her academic career as a research assistant at the Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering between 2004-2010, while she was continuing her doctoral studies. After completing her doctorate, she continued her academic studies at YTU Civil Engineering Department as an Assistant Professor between 2010 and 2018 and works as an Associate Professor since 2018.

Having various publications in the international and national arena and carrying out executive and consultancy duties in TÜBİTAK (the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey), EU, public institution supported projects, Prof. Dr. Zeynep Işık, works in the fields of construction management, project management, strategic management, sustainable structures, performance management, contract management, risk management, cost management, energy management, and BIM.

Prof. Dr. Zeynep Işık currently carries on her administrative duties as both Yıldız Technical University Graduate School of Science Director and Rector Advisor since 2020.
