Prof. Dr. Uğur DOĞAN

Prof. Dr. Uğur DOĞAN completed his undergraduate, graduate and PHD studies at Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Surveying Engineering between 1989 and 2002. In the same department, he continued his academic career as a Research Assistant in 1995 - 2003, as Assistant Professor in 2003 - 2009 and as Associate Professor between 2009 - 2014, and has been continuing his academic studies as a Professor since 2014. He worked as a visiting researcher at Germany Darmstadt Technical University and Canada Calgary University with Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) and TUBITAK NATO A2 scholarships for his PHD and post-PHD studies.

Prof. Dr. Uğur DOĞAN, who has many international and national publications and works as an executive and consultant in projects supported by TÜBİTAK, EU, private and public institutions, carries out studies in the fields of GPS and gravity measurement analysis, monitoring and modeling of earth crust deformations, space geodesy and geodynamics and active tectonics. Since September 2020, he has worked as the Coordinator of Yıldız Technical University Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit.

Prof. Dr. Uğur Doğan has been serving as the Vice Rector of Yıldız Technical University, responsible for IT, Infrastructure and Planning activities, as of December 15, 2021.
